The fantastic Mountain Biking Trails in Nepal (Kathmandu–Pokhara–Jomsom)

Mountain Biking holiday in Nepal begins with a sightseeing trip to Kathmandu city. The city exhibits the rich culture, tradition, and religion of people. The grand palaces, temples, stupas, and monasteries are delights everyone would love to explore.

During the mountain bike tour in Kathmandu, we visit the UNESCO listed heritage sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath stupa. The sightseeing tour covers the ancient history of Nepal, along with some insights into Hinduism and Buddhism.

From Kathmandu, we take a drive along Nepal’s scenic rural terrain along the Trishuli River to Pokhara city, the center of Nepal’s tourism. As soon as we reach Pokhara, we will have an excursion around the lakeside and bless our eyes with the magnificent views of Mt. Machhapuchhre from the lakeside. The vibrancy of the city and pristine air at the same time makes the city very appealing. Besides the late-night wonder, live music, and excellent food, one can never get enough of Pokhara.

As we proceed with the tour, we take a scenic flight to Jomsom. In just 25-30 minutes, we will land at the airport in Jomsom. Jomsom differs from Pokhara in terms of terrain and landscapes. The area is dry and secluded. As a biker, the tough tracks of the place will immediately catch your eyes. Now, moving forward with our veritable mountain biking tour, we assemble our gears and ride through the streets of Jomsom. We follow a mountain biking trail along the Kaligandaki gorge, enjoying the scenic views of mountains, rocky terrain, and experiencing the authentic Tibetan culture.

A mountain biking ride to the altitude of 3710m (Muktinath)

Further, the mountain biking tour will get more exciting and adventurous. The trail is tough and rocky, but mountain biking’s fun if the path is not challenging. Admiring the awe-inspiring views of mountains in the desert-like rocky terrain, we make our way up to Muktinath. There is a famous and holy temple of Lord Vishnu in Muktinath. The name of the place comes after the name of the temple–Muktinath. The site is promising for both Hindu and Buddhism pilgrims. You may see a group of pilgrims on your way to the temple. The temple is not only famous for its religious significance but the picturesque views of mountains around.

The best time for a mountain biking tour in Nepal is during the spring or autumn season. March to May and September to November is the perfect time to explore Nepal's fantasies and Nepalese mountains in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The views are unlimited; the weather is dry and accurate during this time. Monsoon is a big no for this tour because the mountain biking trails in Nepal get muddy and slippery because of excessive rain. Also, winter is impossible for mountain biking as the path is full of snow.

Trip of a lifetime- Annapurna Circuit Trek

Heaven Himalaya Team offers a magnificently arranged trekking involvement in Nepal. Ramhari answered instantly to all my messages. They make a solid effort to make your vacation in Nepal an extraordinary one and genuinely went well beyond my desires.

I couldn't remember the name of the guide but my boy, you were more than amazing. I wish you good luck in the days to come.

Everything from pickup to trekking in the mountains was very professional with excellent service.

So, I strongly suggest everyone and will trek with Heaven Himalaya again in the future.

Glorious Experience in EBC Trek

We did an EBC trek with Ram and his team back in April 2019, and it was a glorious experience. Ram is a very knowledgeable, resourceful, and very helpful guide. 2 of us got unwell during the trek, and he was very prompt and took care of us in any way that was available.

We enjoyed our chat and his sense of humor along the trail and at the teahouses. He even got us a special breakfast and pickle salad at Namche Bazaar and always fulfilled the strange request with our dietary needs. EBC trek is amazing. With Ram, it is even more spectacular. Thanks for the amazing trip. Looking forward to island peak climb in the future.

Incredible Scenery and Service

I trekked up to Basecamp with Ram and his Heaven Himalaya team last year and had incredible Scenery and Service. The scenery is just awesome, and Ram took amazing care of everyone in our group. He kept us all entertained and motivated and most importantly, healthy. Can't recommend him highly enough!

Best Experience Ever, Thank You Ram

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in the mountains. We made the Three Passes Trek in the Everest region. I can certainly say that it was the ultimate outdoor experience we have ever had, simply astonishing. I'm also very sure that a great part of enjoying that experience the way we did was thanks to our guide (Ram). He's a highly expert in the mountains and more importantly a great person with a big heart and always a smile to offer.

Everest Base Camp Trekking

I did the Everest Base Camp Trek back in Nov’18 and it was an awesome experience. My guide, Ram was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and professional. He was very good in all the preparations that he made and was very attentive to my needs. He was very thorough explaining all parts of the trek and he took good care of me, especially I was exhausted on the last day of the trek, he pushed and helped me out to ensure I made it to EBC. I highly recommend going with Ram if you ever wanted to do any treks in Nepal.
