Overview
Nepal Cultural Tour is one of the complete tour packages in Nepal that allows you to immerse yourself into the country’s deep-rooted unique culture and explore its uniqueness, richness, and authenticity. Nepal is a museum of customs and traditions. It is a country of cultural bliss.
Nepal’s culture differs from cultural practices around the globe. Foremost, the country used to be the only Hindu kingdom in the world. But later, the nation was replaced by the federal republic. Nepal is a secular state now. Still, no wonder Hinduism dominates Nepal.
Moving on to another fact, Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha–the founder of Buddhism. Buddhist followers dominate the Himalayan area. There are many stupas, monasteries, and places built in honor of Lord Buddha. Likewise, Buddhism is the second religion in terms of the population following the faith in Nepal. In your cultural tour in Nepal, one can experience the religious melange of Hinduism, Buddhism, and many other religions.
Nepal Cultural Heritage – Pashupatinath temple
Did you know? Pashupatinath temple, the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, lies in Nepal. The temple has high religious significance. Each year, thousands of Hindu tourists around the globe come to Nepal to visit this temple. It comes in the top list in any religious tour of Hindus in the country.
The temple area comprises many ancient temples, idols, and statues at the Bagmati Riverbank. Even though only Hindus may enter Pashupatinath’s main temple, there are other places to visit for other religious followers.
The daily worship (Aarati) on the bank of the Bagmati River has the power of healing. It drives away all the negative vibes and fills our bodies with positive energy. The cremation site is also a major attraction of the place. It helps you know the death rituals of Hindu people, i.e., how the dead body is burnt after the death rites. Again, burning the body after death is not common in other religions.
The Sadhus in colorful dress and unique attire are the other major attractions of the temple. The temple is one of UNESCO’S World Heritage Sites in Nepal. Exploring the Pashupatinath temple is a great joy.
Henceforth, Cultural Tour in Nepal lets you get insights into the cultural practices of Hinduism.

Swayambhunath stupa
Swayambhunath stupa is a symbol of peace and a holy place for Buddhist pilgrims. The complex comprises stupa, shrines, temples, and monasteries that lie on the hilltop. The stupa is a big white dome with a golden spire on the top of the dome with Buddha’s eyes and eyebrows looking on all sides.
As per mythology, Kathmandu used to be an enormous lake. A legendary man named Manjushree cut a hill with his sword to allow the lake’s water to pass out of the valley. There was a lotus on the lake that sat in the same place where the stupa sits now.
Besides the stupa, there are many colossal statues of Buddha, monasteries, and other shrines around the complex. Many Buddhists visit this place as it holds principal value amongst the Buddhist people. Also, the stupa is in the charts of UNESCO’S World Heritage Sites in Nepal. Cultural Tour in Nepal is a standout amongst other approaches to find the cultural varieties of Nepal.
Boudhanath stupa
Located around 11 kilometers away from the center of Kathmandu is another stupa famous as Boudhanath stupa. It is a beautiful and large stupa place on a massive three-layered Mandela. The prominent white dome structure of the stupa sits upon three-layered whitewashed Mandela is one of the world’s largest stupas. The white color of the structure gives a peaceful and soothing look to this monumental structure. Above the white dome lies a golden spire with Buddha’s eyes on all sides.
It is one of the popular sites for Buddhist people for prayers. The colorful prayer flags and prayer wheels give an authentic look to the stupa. In the morning and evening, the place receives many devotees performing a kora around the structure. Like Swayambhunath stupa, even Boudhanath stupa makes its place in UNESCO’S World Heritage Sites’ charts.
Above all, these stupas will give you an insight into Buddhism and its culture and practices during your cultural journey in Nepal.

Trip of a lifetime- Annapurna Circuit Trek
Heaven Himalaya Team offers a magnificently arranged trekking involvement in Nepal. Ramhari answered instantly to all my messages. They make a solid effort to make your vacation in Nepal an extraordinary one and genuinely went well beyond my desires.
I couldn't remember the name of the guide but my boy, you were more than amazing. I wish you good luck in the days to come.
Everything from pickup to trekking in the mountains was very professional with excellent service.
So, I strongly suggest everyone and will trek with Heaven Himalaya again in the future.
Glorious Experience in EBC Trek
We did an EBC trek with Ram and his team back in April 2019, and it was a glorious experience. Ram is a very knowledgeable, resourceful, and very helpful guide. 2 of us got unwell during the trek, and he was very prompt and took care of us in any way that was available.
We enjoyed our chat and his sense of humor along the trail and at the teahouses. He even got us a special breakfast and pickle salad at Namche Bazaar and always fulfilled the strange request with our dietary needs. EBC trek is amazing. With Ram, it is even more spectacular. Thanks for the amazing trip. Looking forward to island peak climb in the future.
Incredible Scenery and Service
I trekked up to Basecamp with Ram and his Heaven Himalaya team last year and had incredible Scenery and Service. The scenery is just awesome, and Ram took amazing care of everyone in our group. He kept us all entertained and motivated and most importantly, healthy. Can't recommend him highly enough!
Best Experience Ever, Thank You Ram
My wife and I spent our honeymoon in the mountains. We made the Three Passes Trek in the Everest region. I can certainly say that it was the ultimate outdoor experience we have ever had, simply astonishing. I'm also very sure that a great part of enjoying that experience the way we did was thanks to our guide (Ram). He's a highly expert in the mountains and more importantly a great person with a big heart and always a smile to offer.
Everest Base Camp Trek
I did the Everest Base Camp Trek back in Nov’18 and it was an awesome experience. My guide, Ram was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and professional. He was very good in all the preparations that he made and was very attentive to my needs. He was very thorough explaining all parts of the trek and he took good care of me, especially I was exhausted on the last day of the trek, he pushed and helped me out to ensure I made it to EBC. I highly recommend going with Ram if you ever wanted to do any treks in Nepal.
