Kathmandu Durbar Square depicts Nepal’s rich history and the subtle taste of Malla kings in terms of art and architecture. Swayambhunath stupa and Boudhanath stupa reflect the richness of Buddhism religion prevalent in Nepal, and the Pashupatinath temple is a center for all the Hindu people worldwide. Nepal is a country with Hindu people in dominance. Hence the temple is honored with much respect and pride.

We move ahead with the trek with a flight to Lukla. We will be transferred to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport via a luxury ride to catch a flight to Lukla. The trip is an adventurous journey full of mountain views. On reaching Lukla, you will meet our other crew members in Lukla, who will lead you towards the Mt. Everest Base Camp. We prepare our backpacks and start walking ahead towards the Dudhkoshi River. We cross a long suspension bridge over the river and start ascending along a scenic trail to Phakding. From Phakding, we climb up to enter Sagarmatha National Park.
Sagarmatha National park and Namche Bazaar
Sagarmatha National Park is one of the UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Nepal enriched with floras, faunas, wildlife, alpine forests, pastures, mountains, glaciers, icefalls other mountainous terrain. We cross various Sherpa villages on the way to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is one of the most accessible towns in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Being the only gateway to Mt. Everest Base Camp, it is the only place in the area where you can get anything you like. The city has various shops, cafeterias, cyber café, hotels, lodges, teahouses, grocery shops, etc. The environment in Namche is chaotic in peak season. The travelers, dzopkyos hauled with loads, traders, locals, etc. make Namche’s narrow streets crowded during the peak season.
In Namche, we hike up to Everest View Hotel for some close-up and undisturbed mountains in the Everest region. We further hike up to Tengboche, where we can visit the largest monastery of the area, i.e., the Tengboche monastery. From here, the trail climbs up to the beautiful pastures of Dingboche and then to Lobuche. Stunning views of mountains in the Everest region accompany us throughout our trekking journey. From Lobuche, the trail further climbs up to Gorakshep and then to Mt. Everest Base Camp, every travel enthusiast’s dream destination.

Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Lobuche, and many other mountains in the Region look magnificent from here. Tonight, we stay at a luxury guesthouse in Tengboche.

With passaging time, we are getting closer to the Everest Base Camp. Today, we leave Dingboche and make our way to Lobuche at an elevation of 4910 meters. From Dingboche, we follow the trail that takes us to the wide valley until we reach Dughla. From here, we move ahead to Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche at an elevation of 4240 meters. Finally, the wait is over. We are into one of the most routine days of our entire trekking journey. After breakfast in Gorekshep, we walk towards the Everest Base Camp, the base camp of the world’s highest mountain. It is a moment of pride for anyone. We explore the area and witness the glory of peaks that rise just before us. Though Mt. Everest hides between Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Nuptse, other mountains' views are incredible. As we explore the base camp and capture the moment in photos, we return to Gorekshep for an overnight stay. Tonight, we spend our time at a luxury guesthouse in Gorekshep.

After enjoying some impressive mountains in the Everest region of Nepal from Namche, we start our journey back to Lukla. We descend via the same well-paved path along Jorsale, Monjo, and Phakding to Lukla. The lush forests and amazing mountainous terrain will keep us engaged throughout the trek. Tonight, spend your night at a guesthouse in Lukla.
In the early morning, we take a flight to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, at your hotel in Kathmandu. You have two options for the day–explore the streets and malls for shopping or visit some places you want to explore but are not included in the trek. Tonight, spend your time at a hotel in Kathmandu.
It’s an extra day in Kathmandu just for contingency purposes. Sometimes, things may not go as swiftly as intended. Sometimes, flight delays/ cancellation, poor weather, or ill health can cause a barrier to your journey. Hence, a contingency day on the trip will always be helpful. In case you finished the trek in time, you can use this day for resting or shopping in Kathmandu.
Today, fly home from Kathmandu or proceed with your travel to some different goals around the world. We will drop you at the air terminal, three hours before your planned flight. We trust you made some incredible memories with us. Thank you, have a safe journey home.

Remarkable Service with Great Trekking Experience
Trekking with Heaven Himalaya was an astounding encounter. My choice of outing and the organization were fantastic and of the correct choice. In every snapshot of my walk, I ran over experience and found something new. I can recollect memories of my initial step on the Everest Base Camp.
