Tsum valley with Manaslu Circuit Trek is a perfect way of celebrating the natural lure of enchanting valleys hidden in between the wilderness of mountains. We take through some remote and unspoiled sections of Nepal and lets us enjoy the natural essence that lies within. Trekking to the Manaslu region is inarguably a memorable journey that combines the raw appeal of the world’s eighth highest peak–Mt. Manaslu with the lushness of forests, verdant valleys, traditional villages, and the Buddhism religion’s spirit.
During the trek, you will walk around the Mt. Manaslu appreciating the region’s geographical splendor. In a proper sense, this trek is a super combo of two interesting treks, namely Tsum valley Trek and Manaslu Circuit Trek. Manaslu Circuit Trek was opened for trekkers in 1995, and Tsum Valley was unknown to the world till 2008. Though open for travelers, the trail receives a few enthusiastic travelers owing to its remote terrain. Thanks to its off the beaten track, the region can still preserve its natural and cultural heritage intact.
The tales of Tsum valley
Tsum valley is an ancient territory hidden in the shadows of mountains. Veiled in the impressive surrounding of Ganesh Himal, Singri Himal, and Boudha Himal ranges, the valley lay near to the Tibetan border and was a restricted area until 2008. Inhabited by Tibetan origin people, the valley is sparsely populated by Tsum people who have their own unique culture, custom, lifestyle, and dialect.
Buddhism religion is dominant in the valley. There are many caves, monasteries, and gompas in the valley that date back to the century. Because of its remoteness, the valley can still preserve all the ancient heritages that this place possesses. The valley is less exposed to outsiders and differs greatly from the rest of the world—the virgin land, off beaten tracks, and Buddhism’s aura of religion. A trip to the valley is enlightening. The prominent mountain pass, gorges, hamlets, gompas, and monasteries, Tsum valley with Manaslu Circuit Trek, is an enriching experience.
An interesting fact–Did you know?
Polyandry is still in practice in Tsum valley. They marry brothers of the same family to a single lady! It sounds weird, but it is a fact.

Best Days of My Life
I and my colleagues visited Nepal back in the year 2017. I was not an experienced hiker but anyway chose Annapurna Base Camp Trek with a trekking agency in Nepal. It was like a challenge for me to trek to the 4000 m altitude, but Mr. Ram helped us in every way possible. He was there from the start of our trekking journey in Pokhara to our end days in Kathmandu. Ram kept pushing me forward and even waited for me to catch the other team. He guided me from choosing plain food to meditating. Although I was a victim of altitude sickness and couldn't enjoy the trek to the fullest, I am very grateful to have chosen him.
Annapurna Base Camp is a beautiful place in the Himalayas. The Gurung Village, Poonhill, Pokhara every place was just outstanding.
I have now developed a hiking attitude, and I have been training for the EBC trek now. I can't wait to visit the Himalayas again.
Perfectly Organized Upper Mustang Trek
All thanks to Mr. Ram for organizing the Upper Mustang, trekking perfectly from beginning to end. I, along with my bunch of friends, had a delightful experience with the Heaven Himalaya team. For us, it is the best trekking agency in Nepal. The guides and porters were very flexible and took care of everything around us.
I recommend everyone to try these young guys to go hiking in Nepal.
Wonderful Trekking Experience
My wife and I visited Upper Mustang and were lucky to have chosen Heaven Himalaya. We had a wonderful experience trekking in Upper Mustang. As soon as we landed in TIA, we were welcomed by Ram. He was very easy and responsive to work with. He explained all the queries we had and gave a brief description of the tour. As we were watching videos and reading blogs about Upper Mustang, we had a lot of expectations about the place and the trekking agency we were working with. We had a private 18-day tour with a porter. And to be honest, we found everything beyond our expectations. The hills, mountains, monasteries were all amazing, especially Lo Manthang is a great place to visit. Our guide was also equally supportive and friendly. The team made our trek more enjoyable. While writing this, it reminded me of the days we had on the trails. Thank You again for the wonderful experience. Best wishes to Jason and Esha. We will definitely love to return and probably do the Everest base camp Trek this time.
Trip of a lifetime- Annapurna Circuit Trek
Heaven Himalaya Team offers a magnificently arranged trekking involvement in Nepal. Ramhari answered instantly to all my messages. They make a solid effort to make your vacation in Nepal an extraordinary one and genuinely went well beyond my desires.
I couldn't remember the name of the guide but my boy, you were more than amazing. I wish you good luck in the days to come.
Everything from pickup to trekking in the mountains was very professional with excellent service.
So, I strongly suggest everyone and will trek with Heaven Himalaya again in the future.
Glorious Experience in EBC Trek
We did an EBC trek with Ram and his team back in April 2019, and it was a glorious experience. Ram is a very knowledgeable, resourceful, and very helpful guide. 2 of us got unwell during the trek, and he was very prompt and took care of us in any way that was available.
We enjoyed our chat and his sense of humor along the trail and at the teahouses. He even got us a special breakfast and pickle salad at Namche Bazaar and always fulfilled the strange request with our dietary needs. EBC trek is amazing. With Ram, it is even more spectacular. Thanks for the amazing trip. Looking forward to island peak climb in the future.
