11 day EBC trek with Heaven Himalaya

We loved our 11-day short EBC trek with Heaven Himalaya! Our guide, Shankar, and porter, Ayush, made everything so smooth and easy. We were nervous about the altitude but they put our minds at ease. The food along the way was filling and delicious, and the tea houses were lovely. We had the best time and can’t wait to do another trek in Nepal soon!

Everest Base Camp (5363m) is one of the best attractions

Everest Base Camp (5363m) is one of the best attractions for adventurous travelers or thrill seekers. I did Everest Base Camp with my two other friends in April 2023. We organized the entire expedition from the very beginning to the very end. We began by spending two days in Kathmandu to make all the Trekker cards (passport photo needed) and every other piece of paper that was needed. Then we spent three days at the airport trying to get a flight into Lukla. There are a limited number of flights. It is hard, as the flights can be canceled due to weather and other reasons. The only flights available are from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you are planning your flight, then I recommend being early to the airport; at around 5 a.m., we tried to employ them for the trip. They soon got everything arranged. Once we got to Lukla (2800 m n.p.m.),. The trekking was going very well. The weather was decent, and there were amazing views. On the whole track, like usually in those places, we met amazing people, and the locals were always kind and willing to help out. In all the lodges we have stayed in, we were always happy with the food, clean rooms, and warm water. We had no problems finding places to sleep. During the whole trip, we did not buy water but collected standard tap water and distilled it with cleaning tablets. We have saved a lot of money, as water is the most expensive product in the Himalayas. We stayed for two days in two places: Namche Bazar (3440 m) and Dingboche (4530 m). We stayed for acclimation, which I would highly recommend. It helps you not get sick. You can see very interesting things when you have spare time during the acclimation and have time to rest. And finally, we got to the last available sleeping base: Lodge Gorak Shep, 5170 m. The day before trekking to the base camp, we have a trek to Kala Pattar, 5545 m. You can see one of the best views in the Himalayas. The most famous viewing range in the Himalayas is Black Rocks, Kala Pattar. It spreads a 360-degree panorama, covering the entire southern wall of Mount Everest with the peaks of Nuptse and Pumori and at least five mighty glaciers. Then return. Trekking down takes a lot less time and requires no effort. But we had worse weather, as within one day, snow had fallen and covered half the track. Lower down in Namache Bazar, the sun has shined once again. We came back to Lukla with no trouble in one day. We have stayed at the Himalayan Lodge. We had good luck in the morning as we got up and got the flight to Kathmandu, where we stayed there for three days for a more detailed tour of the city and local life. We visited the Great Boudha Stupa, Swoyambhu Stupa, Taleju Temple, and all the world heritage site monument zones in Hanuman-Dhoka Durbar. We enjoyed local food and many other things. Finally, we safely came home. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us and whom we have met during our trekking and stay in Nepal. We spent the wonderful moments alone, and we found great and helpful people. NAMASTE!

Base Camp trek itself was amazing

This trek was on my bucket list, and I planned for it over 6 months, including getting a very walking-uphill fit, buying necessary clothing and equipment, and reading up about the trek as much as I could. Ram, the managing director, had everything in place, and my trekking guide, Shankar, was knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful. Krishna, my porter, also provided excellent service. My guide in Kathmandu, Ramesh, was also very knowledgeable about the city's sights. The trek itself was amazing, with beautiful mountain scenery, good food, and more than acceptable accommodation. Certainly an adventure I will always treasure having done.

Wonderful EBC Trek

We enjoyed a wonderful EBC trek with Heaven Himalaya, especially with Bishal as a very helpful guide. We enjoy the very nice scenery, although with cool weather. Clear sky and not many clouds. Ram has done a good job of organizing the trip for us. It's a worth value for money journey. The scenery is sensational. Recommended trip. Lifetime journey. One bucket list was checked.

First Inquiry to End, the EBC Trek service was incredible.

Heaven Himalaya was simply top-notch. From our first inquiry through the end of our EBC trek, the service was incredible. Our guide in Kathmandu worked very hard to get us out of Ramechhap on time, and our mountain guide, Dipak, was knowledgeable and confident. Dipak made sure we had the best accommodations possible in each location and continually helped us make the best decisions to ensure we reached our goal without succumbing to altitude sickness. The sleeping bag provided was high-grade and clean. The owner, Ram, greeted us and enjoyed dinner with us after the trip. He truly took care of our every need. I highly recommend this company if you will be trekking in Nepal. Ask for Dipak.

I booked the EBC Trek for late November

My husband and I booked the EBC Trek for late November with Heaven Himalaya, and the entire experience from booking to completion of the trek was fantastic! Ram was quick to respond to all the booking inquiries and questions. We were able to make changes to our package without any fuss, and the team made sure we were looked after for our entire stay in Nepal. Our great porter was Kris, and his quiet professionalism and strength inspired us each day. Our amazing guide was Dipak. He took care of absolutely everything. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was flexible with us the entire time. Dipak has years and years of experience, is very knowledgeable, and is incredibly well connected on the mountain; any changes were sorted out before we knew it. He was so warm and friendly, with a great sense of humor, helping us get through those tough days, and he spoke great English, making communication a breeze. We'd highly recommend Dipak as your guide. The food and accommodation were better than we expected (we'd heard some bad things in general about what to expect on the EBC Trek), yes, but the friendly staff everywhere we went made it enjoyable. It was a challenging trek, but traveling with Heaven Himalaya was a great experience, and we're so glad we booked with them!

Well organized and efficient

We did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with these guys, which was awesome. Well organized and efficient. They looked after everything and were very attentive and professional. The guide, Shankar, and the porter, Babu, were also brilliant. I would recommend using them for any of your tours.

First time in Nepal

This is the first time I visited Nepal, and the entire experience was perfect! Our guide Dipak made sure we were comfortable, and safe, and had fun throughout the Mardi Himal trek. On top of that, he even showed us some local sights in Pokhara which were some real hidden gems. He knew all the best spots to see the various peaks of the Annapurna range, and the best timings to see them. From the organizers’ side, both Ram and Sanjib were very helpful in coordinating this package for us, and the price was very reasonable. Will book again with Heaven Himalaya :)

Group Camaraderie in Everest Chola Pass

The group dynamics facilitated by Heaven Himalaya contributed to a friendly and supportive atmosphere during our trek to Chola Pass. Trekking alongside like-minded individuals enhanced the overall experience. Dipak and Bhim were excellent too.
